The sixth game in the Total War series (and the third to be released on Mac OS X), Napoleon builds on its predecessors, adding improved visuals and AI to the strategy and tactical hybrid gameplay.

July 3rd. That’s the date Feral have sent over by secret messenger, for their next strategy feast, Napoleon: Total War – Gold Edition:

The Mac version of Napoleon: Total War – Gold Edition comprises the base game and all the game updates, improvements and downloadable content, including The Peninsula Campaign, which sees Napoleon battle for control of the Iberian Peninsula against the allied forces of Spain, the United Kingdom and Portugal. It also includes three unit packs, the Imperial EaglePack, the Coalition Battle Pack and the Heroes of the Napoleonic Wars Pack.

The game will include several LAN and online multiplayer modes, the latter supported by Apple’s Game Center technology when the game is purchased from the Mac App Store.

I believe we might still be waiting for full multiplayer for Empire though, so I do hope that’s due to get patched in first. Minimum specs are the same as Empire (4 GB RAM, 2.0 GHz processor), but you’ll need a whopping 30 GB of disk space.
