As a sequel to an astonishingly good game, Arkham City manages to do the impossible, delivering a game that improves on every aspect of the original whilst keeping a firm grip on what made it so good in the first place.

Well, this took me by surprise. It seems that the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham City will be released (without any warning) tomorrow. Still, I don’t suppose it matters that much, after all, not having to wait long to get your hands on it is always better than having to.

Minimum system requirements call for a 2.0GHz Intel Mac with at least 4.0GB RAM, 256MB or better graphics card, and Mac OS 10.7.4 or later. The game does not support the following graphics cards: ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, NVIDIA 9400, NVIDIA 7xxx series, NVIDIA 320M, Intel HD3000 and Intel GMA series.

Having already played through the Windows version, I’ll be putting the Mac version through its paces today and will be giving you my thoughts on it very soon. The price will be $39.99 / £29.99 / €34.99 from “a variety” of digital download sites.
