The (Big Game) Hunt is On
Borderlands 2 for Mac OS X
Loading...Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, the latest DLC for Borderlands 2 is now available for the Mac (Steam) version. The third addon sees budding vault hunters search for the wreckage of a Hyperion ship, battling savages and feral creatures along the way:
“Danger! Excitement! Mustaches! It’s time for another episode of Vault Hunter Adventures, featuring Sir Hammerlock! In this week’s tale, our hard-boiled heroes travel to the savage continent of Aegrus! Their goal? To uncover the most exotic creatures Pandora has to offer, and give ’em the old one-two!”
As well as the new locations, enemies and characters, the DLC also adds a new vehicle, new weapon types (including Seraph-rarity items in True Vault Hunter mode), and “monster-tracking” missions.
This coincides with a patch to the main game, bringing it to version 1.3.1, meaning that Mac gamers can play online with the Windows folk once more (or at least until the Windows version next receives a patch). I’m also told that GameAgent is running a promotion that offers 25% off the $9.99 asking price (using the code plastered over the homepage).
