Loading...Your shields have been penetrated, your engine room is on fire and the pirates have just teleported onto your ship. You’re down to two crew members and your oxygen levels are depleting. What do you do? Soldier on bravely, or accept your inevitable defeat and then start a new game to do it all again?

After my first few hours with FTL I wasn’t sure whether I’d ever play it again. I was incredibly frustrated by having to watch my ship explode time and time again despite my best efforts and I couldn’t seem to progress. Since then I play the game whenever I have a chance to. The basic plot is the same each time you play, however the story changes each time based on the choices you make. The replay value is tremendous as you never play the same game twice and that’s where my desperation to play stems from, you pay for one game but get thousands.
