Shit Just Got Weird: Origin Does Humble Bundle
Never in my wildest dreams would I have predicted this: the latest Humble Bundle is a collection of games from Origin. As in, EA Origin.
There’s only one Mac-compatible game on offer in the entire bundle (The Sims 3, and you’ll have to beat the average anyway), but the entire bundle is almost a run-down of EA’s greatest hits, with Battlefield 3 and Mirror’s Edge in the mix.
Most incredible of all though is the fact that all the money goes to charity (apart from a slice that goes to the Humble guys & gals themselves). Nothing goes to EA, and you’ll get both Origin and Steam keys (where available).
I don’t get to say this very often, but massive respect to EA for doing this.
Update: It turns out that The Sims 3 doesn’t run properly on many Macs. So that’s a shame.
