Scummvm Bringing Eye of the Beholder to Mac
The Scummvm project announced today that it has added support for early-90s dungeon crawler Eye of the Beholder and its sequel The Legend of Darkmoon. The series holds a special place in many older gamers’ hearts (mine included), with interest in the genre being recently revived by the (coming soon to Mac) Legend of Grimrock.
Support is only currently available in the Windows-only Daily Builds, but it should be available in the next Mac release (or you can mess around with the source code). The other issue is of course, there’s nowhere to buy the games from right now, but perhaps this means we’ll see it on Gog before long.
