Apple today gave a brief preview of its new flagship Mac, the Mac Pro.
The new computer features a compact, cylindrical and shiny (if a little plasticky) black shell. It’s packed with goodies like 802.11ac wifi and Bluetooth 4, with “dual workstation AMD FirePro GPUs with support for 4K displays”.
It can be expanded via external thunderbolt devices only, with seemingly no way to change graphics cards or disk drives internally. Honestly, the Mac Pro currently doesn’t look like it’ll be a good gaming rig unless the graphics cards can be swapped out, but we won’t know for sure until people get their hands on them, which won’t be until later on this year.
