OS X Mavericks Announced
Apple today announced OS X “Mavericks”. The next iteration of the Mac operating system has a focus on lower power usage, improved performance, and er, smoother scrolling.
There’s a redesigned Calendar application, as well as a new version of Safari, and new, Mac versions of Maps and iBooks.
Also to feature in the next version of the operating system will be notifications (including push notifications) and support for OpenGL 4, and improvements to OpenCL.
