Almost a full year after its release, Empire: Total War has been updated to include online multiplayer support:
Empire: Total War – Gold Edition 1.1 unveils a number of new features, including retina support, stability improvements, gameplay statistics and perhaps most excitingly of all Online Multiplayer with full support for Apple’s Game Centre (Mac App Store version only) and GameRanger (all versions).
To download the patch, Mac App Store customers should visit the Mac App Store and click on the “Updates” tab. Everyone else can simply open the Empire: Total War – Gold Edition application and follow the prompts to update automatically.
Probably good news then for those of you who haven’t moved onto Napoleon in the meantime.
