Sims 4 Coming 2014, Will Feature Ability to Actually Play It

Isn’t it nice when big publishers listen to complaints and take them on board. That’s apparently what EA have done. Following on from the debacle of SimCity, EA are finally adding an offline mode to the game to let people play it without an internet umbilical cord celebrating the basic ability to play the forthcoming Sims 4 without needing to go all Big Brother on you:

The Sims 4 celebrates the heart and soul of the Sims themselves, giving players a deeper connection with the most expressive, surprising and charming Sims ever in this single-player offline experience.

What a sad state of affairs it is when things like this can’t just be taken for granted any more. Anyway! The Sims 4 will be out next year, offering you the chance to buy all of the things you bought from previous Sims’ games, all over again.
