Loading...Brilliant roguelike-like adventure Don’t Starve has been tricked out with an official mod just in time for Halloween. The Screecher, as it’s called, gets automatically installed as part of an update, and is accessible from the main menu of the game.
And what a treat it is! It does away with the fixed perspective and instead gives you a claustrophobia-inducing over-the-shoulder perspective, and radically changes the gameplay. Klei’s website is a bit quiet on the subject (bar a single thread with no useful information), so I have failed in my responsibility to bring you any more information on the mod. But why not just fire it up and play it, instead of wasting time reading this?
