Diablo 3’s starter edition lets you play the game up to the end of Act I and to level 13. Blizzard have made it freely available to anyone with a Battle.net account (which you can sign up for here).
Some other limitations apply, and you can download the client through “Your Game Accounts” at Battle.net.
