Steam adds flawed “Big Picture” mode
Today’s Steam beta update adds the awaited “big picture” mode. It’s very slick, if a little Xboxy, and works very well with a controller plugged in.
There’s a fundamental problem though- Windows-only games that are tied to your account are shown in the Library. There’s a way to filter it to show “installed” games, but no way to show “Mac-only” ones. Still, it’s got a big beta sticker on it, and for a first glimpse it seems to be pretty solid in other respects.
