Next Stop: Sid Meier’s Railroads

Whilst looking at strip of massively overcooked bacon and deciding whether to eat it anyway, Feral Interactive got in touch to tell us that they’re bringing Sid Meier’s Railroads to the Mac in the next couple of months.

The game itself is a “re-imagining” of Railroad Tycoon, and sees you building railroads, deploying trains and delivering passengers and cargo. The game features “46 historically-accurate trains, 16 maps and seven mission-driven scenarios that span two centuries of American and European history”.

The game will be available via digital download at the Mac App Store amongst other places, priced at $29.99 (£19.99 / €24.99). Minimum requirements are OS 10.6.8 and 3 GB of RAM. As always, ATI X1xxx series, NVIDIA 7xxx series and Intel GMA series graphics cards will not be supported.

Trailer below, and in the meantime, I’ve got to get back to a very important decision about something.
