Leave it to Blizzard to release a newsworthy minor update. Diablo 3 is now at version 1.0.4*, and with the latest update comes welcome changes to the game’s difficulty, items and adds a new “Paragon” system, which gives 100 extra levels of stat-boosting and a hero portrait border that “becomes more impressive as you level up”.
If my in-game contacts list are in any way representative, most people haven’t even logged in for over a month, so it will be interesting to see if this update will bring people back as Blizzard hopes.
*The 1.0.4 update is being rolled out to different regions over the next few days and so may not be available for you just yet.
