CCE Is One Year Old
On April 28, 2012, Control Command Escape published its first article. Back then we were known by the unwieldy moniker of Mac-Gamer.net. It’s now exactly a year later, the Mac gaming scene is starting to flourish (coincidence? I think not), and we’ve got 446 posts under our belt, including 75 games reviews. Our commentary-free, pure Mac gameplay videos have proved popular too, with 100,000 views and counting.
We’ve experimented a lot with the format, and as a result we quickly outgrew the stock WordPress template we’d been using. To celebrate our first birthday, we’ve given Control Command Escape something of a makeover, with an HTML5-powered template built from the ground up. We hope you’ll find the new format looks much more simple and compact, with the information even easier to find than ever, and tighter integration with our forums.
Under the hood, everything should be faster and more responsive– and it plays nicely with iMobiles too!
